I chose to personify envy. Envy is a powerful and toxic emotion, that runs deep and in my view consumes much like a tumour, virus or disease. Distorting the vision of the wearer highlights that envy is driven from what we see in others. Metastasising and magnifying our point of focus.

Envy has the power to control and warp our perceptions of those around us, contorting and playing on our thoughts, puppeteering emotional threads as if we were marionettes.
